REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR FALLA WALLA 2023

 

Just like 2022, the Half Marathon, 10K and 1 mile Kids Fun Run start and finish at Walla Walla Community College located on the east side of town at 500 Tausick Way in Walla Walla, WA.  The courses will be basically the same as 2022. The course features stunning views of the Blue Mountains and Walla Walla Valley, rolling fields of wheat, vineyards and fall foliage starting and finishing on the asphalt Mill Creek bike path. Once the run route reaches Bennington Lake, it continues on gravel service roads.  The Half Marathon includes an out and back section on a chip sealed county road returning to loop back onto the last half of the 10K route around the lake.  This is NOT a fast and flat course!  It includes rolling hills with elevation gain on the way out and high speed returns on mile 6-8 of the Half Marathon and the last two miles of both the 10K and Half Marathon.  The Kids Fun Run (ages 3-12) will follow the Mill Creek bike path along a slight grade out and back. The Half Marathon will start at 9:00 am followed by the 10K race at 9:05 am. The Kids Fun Run (ages 3-12) will start at 8:15 am.  Walkers are welcome but will need to finish by 1:00 pm when the course closes to be eligible for awards.  In addition, aid stations, course markings and the timing system will be removed/dismantled after 1:00 pm.

Entry fees include a long-sleeve tech shirt for participants who register before September 15, 2023.

This race is sanctioned by USA Track & Field under Event License ID #142566.

Dogs and other animals are not allowed on the course during the race under USATF rules.  Strollers are not allowed on the course because of safety concerns with the uneven terrain of parts of course.

Registration closes at midnight on Thursday, October 12.  No day of race registrations.
